PvE team

All-Round PvE Squad

A five-slot party that covers open-world combat, one flying mount and one gatherer so you never return to base mid-run.

Highest raw PvE score in the roster — your default attacker.

Element flex
Rooby Palworld TCG card EBP01-011 (C)

Second attacker with a different element so you cover resistances.

Flying mount
Eidrolon — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Eidrolon

Travel and vertical scouting between towers.

Gatherer
Cattiva Noct — official Palworld Pal artwork (Grass element)
Cattiva Noct
Grass

Handles field harvesting and drops during the run.

Tank
Boltmane Storm — official Palworld Pal artwork (Water element)
Boltmane Storm
Water

Soaks boss aggro while your damage Pal reloads.

  • Keep one flier out while traversing — stamina regenerates while it is your active Pal.
  • Swap your damage Pal to match the enemy element instead of levelling one Pal only.
  • Carry Cakes so you can breed replacements without breaking the run.
Boss team

Tower Boss Rush Team

Built around burst damage windows: two element counters, a tank and a healer-style utility Pal for long tower fights.

Primary counter
Cinnamoth — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Cinnamoth
Neutral

Top attacker for the boss element you are fighting.

Backup counter
Bushi Noct — official Palworld Pal artwork (Dragon element)
Bushi Noct
Dragon

Second element so a resistant phase does not stall you.

Aggro tank
Cinnamoth Aureus — official Palworld Pal artwork (Grass element)
Cinnamoth Aureus
Grass

Highest defence body to hold the arena centre.

Mount escape
Eidrolon — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Eidrolon
Neutral

Fast mount for repositioning out of ground AoE.

Support utility
Loupmoon Palworld TCG card EBP01-087 (C)
Loupmoon
Neutral

Partner skill that buffs damage or restores stamina.

  • Tower bosses ignore capture — bring damage, not Spheres.
  • Bosses telegraph in phases; swap Pals on the phase change to reset cooldowns.
  • Pair with the DPS calculator to confirm your time-to-kill before entering.
PvP team

PvP Ladder Team

Sustain-first ladder comp — cooldown-friendly attackers plus disruption, since PvP flattens one-shot burst.

Lead carry
Eidrolon — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Eidrolon
Neutral

Best PvP score — consistent damage per cooldown.

Disruptor
Lamball Cryst — official Palworld Pal artwork (Dark element)
Lamball Cryst
Dark

Status and slow pressure to force enemy swaps.

Bruiser
Dazzi — official Palworld Pal artwork (Ground element)
Dazzi
Ground

Mid-cost body that trades favourably into carries.

Speed pick
Astegon Wing — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Astegon Wing
Neutral

Outspeeds the mirror and finishes low-health targets.

Closer
Cinnamoth — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Cinnamoth
Neutral

Late-round finisher held in reserve.

  • Sustained damage beats nukers in PvP because cooldowns are scaled.
  • Lead with your disruptor to force the first swap.
  • Condense your two carries to four stars before laddering.
Base team

Base Production Team

A no-idle production line: kindling, watering, planting, handiwork and transporting covered by five specialists.

Kindling
Blazamut Palworld TCG card ETD01-007 (TD)
Blazamut
Fire

Runs the furnace and cooking pot.

Watering
Dumud Palworld TCG card EBP01-057 (U)
Dumud
Ice

Keeps berry and wheat plots irrigated.

Planting
Cattiva Noct — official Palworld Pal artwork (Grass element)
Cattiva Noct
Grass

Reseeds plots so farming never idles.

Eidrolon
Neutral

Fastest crafter for the assembly line.

Transporting
Astegon Wing — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Astegon Wing
Neutral

Moves finished goods into chests.

  • One Pal per suitability beats five generalists — throughput is per-task.
  • Keep a Transporting Pal or your chests fill and the line stalls.
  • Feed boxes near the ranch stop sanity loss on long sessions.
Farming team

Ore & Coal Farming Team

Mining outpost squad: two Mining Pals, a Transporting Pal, a Kindling smelter and a flying mount for hauling.

Miner
Blazehowl Noct Palworld TCG card ETD02-017 (TD)
Blazehowl Noct
Dragon

Primary Mining suitability at the ore nodes.

Second miner
Elphidran Palworld TCG card EBP01-098 (U)
Elphidran

Hauler mount
Astegon Wing — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)
Astegon Wing
Neutral

Flying mount for the trip back to main base.

  • Build the outpost inside the ore cluster so mining Pals never path away.
  • Two miners plus one transporter is the cheapest stable ratio.
  • Smelt on site — ingots weigh less than raw ore.
Travel team

Travel & Exploration Team

Map-clearing party: the fastest flier, a swimmer, a glider-style mount and two capture-support Pals.

Fastest flier
Eidrolon — official Palworld Pal artwork (Neutral element)

Gatherer
Cattiva Noct — official Palworld Pal artwork (Grass element)
Cattiva Noct
Grass

Picks up materials found en route.

  • Stamina depth matters more than top speed on long crossings.
  • Keep a swimming mount for Sakurajima and Feybreak coastlines.
  • Bring extra Spheres — exploration is when you meet Alphas.

Palworld team building FAQ

How many Pals can be on a Palworld team?

Five Pals can be in your active party at once. Everything else stays in the Pal Box or works at a base, which is why a good squad assigns one clear job to each of the five slots instead of stacking similar Pals.

What is the best team in Palworld?

The strongest general-purpose team is one main damage Pal, a second attacker of a different element, a fast flying mount, a gathering Pal and a high-defence tank. That spread covers combat, travel and loot so you never break a run to return to base.

How does this Palworld team builder work?

Pick up to five Pals from the roster and the builder reports your average PvE, PvP, base-work and mount scores, every element you cover, all work suitabilities in the squad, and whether you are carrying a usable mount.

Should base worker Pals go in my party?

No. Base Pals only work while assigned to a base, so party slots should hold combat, mount and gathering Pals. Build a separate five-Pal production squad covering Kindling, Watering, Planting, Handiwork and Transporting.

How many elements should a Palworld team cover?

At least three. Every tower boss and most Alphas resist one element, so three distinct elements across five slots guarantees you always have a neutral or advantaged attacker without rebuilding the party.
